Symbolic Journey
2021In this series of engravings inspired by Tarot, I symbolically tell my journey from Argentina to Italy. Beginning long before departure, my trip started with a real life tarot reading, with particular moments depicted in each of my prints, that can also be related to the life path of any single person. Life is understood as a journey full of cycles that, after finished, enable the beginning of new adventures, motivations, baggage, departures and destinations.
Each piece of work in this series was conceived as an image intended for meditation on every represented theme.

What are your goals? What would you like to manifest? The Tarot card "Le Monde" (The World) refers
to the completion of a path, to the maximum manifestation of a circumstance.
The splendor of the fruit of an accomplished process, which carries within
itself a seed full of potential for the future. On a literal level, “the world” invited me to travel,
to explore, to move.

Are you afraid of the endings? Why is it difficult for you to accept destruction?There is no life without death, and no creation without destruction. The crisis of certainties and of known circumstances allow the arisal something new. Endings and origins are always touching each other.

Which “glasses” do you observe the world through? Which beliefs and paradigms guide your life? The word Abracadabra comes from Aramaic and means "I create what I say". Our thoughts and words build our reality. We are the operators of our own life's journey and we must learn to master our thoughts in order to keep the right course. In this work, “Abracadabra” also refers to choosing a magical mentality: allowing ourselves to be guided by intuition, taking nothing for ordinary, understanding life itself is a miracle.

Inspired by the first arcane of Marseille’s Tarot, “Le Mat”: pure energy of beginnings, innocent and crazy. The moment of departure is a risk, a leap into the void. Even without knowing how the journey will go, the key matter lies in being confident and taking the first step.
